C# API for WITSML 1.2 released

Due to complexities in the WITSML standard and the high cost of implementing WITSML solutions in the industry, Tellus Software have developed a C# class library for easy integration of WITSML objects. The purpose is to reduce the cost and complexity of integrating novel technology into WITSML based solutions. This "WITSML-ification" of client based applications will open new markets for small companies that could not afford building WITSML-based solutions prior to our API.

The choice of C# and .NET as a building block for the API enhances the object manipulation functionality. It takes advantage of the built in primitives of C#, in stead of the more complicated WITSML standard when it comes to container classes and arrays.

The first release of the WITSML API in C# supports the WITSML 1.2 standard.
