Tellus Software opens new office in Tromsų, Norway

Tromsų is a University city with many skilled IT personnel, but a limited home market. Tellus Software has grown in Stavanger for some years with international clients in the oil industry, but with a tight market for hiring new personnel we are now looking into new markets. Tromsų is a good place to recruit IT-personel, because of the University“s good reputation and practical students.

We have hired 4 new programmers in november 2007 and are now a total of 7, located in down-town Tromsų. We are always looking for talented people and have plans for further expansion during 2008. The strategy is to combine our knowledge within Computer Science and the Oil industry, in the expanding Arctic market.

Security solutions are also a key business area for Tromsų. Several products are under development and will be released during 2008.
